The
Iowa Health Information Management Association invites you to
join us at the 2012 Annual IaHIMA Meeting on April 17th and
April 18th.
It is the largest meeting of our association, consisting of over
600 health information management professionals. Vendor exhibits
will be held simultaneously with the meeting on Tuesday, April
17, 2012 from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm and on Wednesday, April 18 from
9:30 to 1:30 pm. The displays may be set up on Tuesday beginning
at 8:00 am and dismantled on Wednesday after 1:30 pm. Hotel
accommodations may be made at 1-800-325-9015. Prairie Meadows
Hotel will be completed before our 2012 meeting.
Reservations should be made by March 15, 2012 to receive the
discounted room rate.
Our conference goals are to provide members educational
development with an opportunity for professional networking. It
is a great opportunity for vendors to market their products to
people who are directly involved in purchasing health
information products and services in a variety of settings.
Personnel from hospitals, physician practices, long-term care
facilities, insurance companies, and other health related
organizations will be present.
We invite you to sponsor a booth. In addition, an event,
refreshment, or speaker may be sponsored through the Platinum,
Gold, Silver or Bronze sponsorship program. Please indicate on
the registration form if you are interested in supporting our
conference. Sponsors will be recognized during our meetings, in
our program handouts, and in the exhibitor’s directory. We plan
to include a “Vendor Showcase” segment on Tuesday that will
allow our attendees dedicated time to visit with vendors and
hold a “Vendor Door Prize” segment on Wednesday.
-
1st Booth - $350 per day or $500
for both days
-
2nd Booth - $175 per day or $250
for both days
-
Non-Profit Organizations - $150 for
both days
All booths include an 8’ wide x 6’
deep space with one 6’ table, two chairs, an 8’ drape, 3’ side
drapes, one sign with your company name, and one 110 volt
electrical box (two outlets). There will be more room for
booths this year! There is a room available this year
which is more quiet and private to discuss your products with
prospective clients.
Exhibitors are encouraged to
promote foot traffic through having a door prize. Exhibitors are
responsible for their own prize sign-up. The door prize drawing
will be held during the Vendor Showcase session on Wednesday.
Donating companies will be recognized in the program. If you are
unable to exhibit, but would like to provide a door prize or
contribute to the cost of our annual meeting with a donation of
$30.00 or more, we will recognize you during the door prize
drawing portion of the meeting and include your company in our
recognition list.
We hope that you will be able to join
us this year. The quality exhibits and demonstrations help make our
annual conference a success.
Thank you for your support. We look forward to seeing you at our
April meeting.

PS: This is the time of year when everyone is
budgeting for their HIM departments. As a vendor you have to
find a way to meet people in the market for your product. One
way to accomplish this is to participate in the Annual IaHIMA
Conference.
The conference is held inside the Prairie
Meadows Hotel and Casino in Des Moines, IA. This is the
association’s largest conference. The annual meeting will be
held in April.
If you would like to increase your sales and
expose your products to Health Information Management patrons,
perhaps you would help sponsor a night of entertainment for our
members where you can socialize with HIM professionals. This
will provide you with maximum exposure to customers who are
using products like yours. You will be recognized on our flyer
and website as a sponsor.
I look forward to seeing you at the annual Iowa
Health Information Management Association conference! |
