Available Positions on IaHIMA Board for 2026-2027

Greetings, IaHIMA Members,

We hope this email finds you well.

It’s never too early to consider expanding your knowledge and making a significant impact on the Health Information Management (HIM) field. The Nominating Committee is looking for your expertise and enthusiasm to fill open Board positions for 2026-2027. Joining the Board offers unique opportunities to influence the HIM field and grow your professional network.

Both past and present Board members share common goals: to keep our organization strong and thriving. We need individuals with fresh, new ideas to join us. Our key goals at IaHIMA include:

  • Advocating for Iowa’s HIM professionals and making a difference.

  • Maintaining the positive image and strong reputation of IaHIMA.

  • Providing the most up-to-date education through webinars, email communications, and our in-person IaHIMA State Meeting.

We are currently seeking nominations for the 2026-2027 IaHIMA positions and encourage you to nominate yourself or a colleague for one of the following roles:

  • President-Elect

  • Treasurer

  • First-Year Director

  • First-Year Nominating Committee

  • Communication Liaison

  • Advocacy Director
